PanCathay Consulting was established in 2003 by Madeleine
Sturrock, former head of staff of the 48 Group and subsequently
Deputy CEO of the China-Britain Business Council. With
more than 25 years experience of China, Madeleine Sturrock
set up this business to provide practical support to
UK and Chinese entities alike to help both sides build
successful trading relationships.
PanCathay’s unique skill amongst the wealth
of support now on offer to companies is that we have
a thorough understanding of both western and Chinese
business environments and cultures.
We have worked for Chinese government organisations
and understand their modus operandi. We also know what
western companies are expecting in terms of their business
